In the last chapter, we had configured CES so here we will use SMB/NFS to flow through the CES. CES is what enables it. It’s fairly easy to do this via the UI so let’s quickly run a health check to check the state of our CES
Let’s login to our Site B and create a directory that we will use for our NFS export
Run a health check
mmgetstate -a; mmhealth cluster show; mmces address list; mmces state show -a
Go to Services – to enable file authentication
Go to Protocols- Create Export
We could do this CLI by running the below command or via UI
mmuserauth service create –data-access-method ‘file’ –type ‘USERDEFINED’
Go to Protocols → NFS Exports → Create Export
