Configuring Virtual RDM for Microsoft Failover Clustering (WSFC) in VMware vSphere

Add the Virtual RDM Disk

  • Attach the Raw Device Mapping (RDM) disk to both cluster nodes.
  • Choose Compatibility Mode: Virtual (for VM-based clustering).
