Getting Started with vCF 4.2

VMware Cloud Foundation is an integrated software stack that bundles VMware vSphere, vSAN NSX-T, Cloud management and monitoring (VMware vRealize Suite) into a single platform that can be deployed as a hybrid cloud.

vCF transforms the way you would have deployed a traditional datacenter environment in a modern software-defined way combining all the software offerings from the above in a single software suite.

Physical Hardware Spec of My Home Lab

A single Dell TS5500 with 144 GB RAM with ESXI 6.7 U3  – No physical routers, no external NAS storage.

A total of 3*1TB SSD makes up my entire storage space at this moment.

The below esx lab boots from a Western Digital 30GB USB stick ( Not RAID )

We will be building 4 esx servers on top of the main server which is all nested VM’s and that powers up my SDDC stack with vSAN, NSX, Center, and vRealize Suites.
